Overview
ITS provides full hardware support to campus computing devices. We are an authorized service repair center for multiple vendors including HP, Lenovo and Fujitsu. Computers and Printers can be ordered through the state punch out system and will be setup when they arrive on campus.

Target Completion Date
ITS aims to install and repair hardware in a timely manner. Completion times will vary depending on the nature of the hardware device and vendor support times.

South Dakota Mines students, staff and faculty for academic and business purposes only
Cost
In warranty devices can be installed and repaired at no cost. Out-of-warranty repairs are not guaranteed and my be subject to additional costs.
Policies
ITS does not physically move computing equipment, but can assist in connecting devices once they are moved.
ITS does not connect non-domain computers to the campus' secure WiFi - sdsmtwpa, or campus-computers to the guest sdsmtopn WiFi
ITS does not work on personal devices or out-of-warranty devices as a general rule. Any exceptions to this will be addressed on a case-by-case basis.
