Overview
ITS provides full hardware support to campus computing devices. We are an authorized service repair center for multiple vendors including HP, Lenovo and Fujitsu. Computers and Printers can be ordered through the state punch out system and setup can be scheduled when they arrive on campus. The state punch out (SDEZBuy) offers a number of standard computer and printers. If you need something custom ordered, ITS can request a quote from our vendors.

Target Completion Date
1-2 business days for ordering. 30-60 days for equipment arrival (please note that there are considerable supply-chain delays still and this may be longer)

Cost
Services are provided at no cost to current students, staff and faculty.
Policies
ITS does not physically move computing equipment, but can assist in connecting devices once they are moved.
ITS does not connect non-domain computers to the campus' secure WiFi - sdsmtwpa, or campus computers to the guest sdsmtopn WiFi.
ITS does not work on personal devices or out-of-warranty devices as a general rule. Any exceptions to this will be addressed on a case-by-case basis.
