Overview
Malicious software including, malware, viruses, trojans, worms, and bloatware are designed to steal information from a user's system and relay such data to criminals. Malware is a danger to campus users, research data and the entire Mines system. As such it should be removed as soon as possible.
Be careful when opening unrecognized emails, unexpected attachments and untrusted files. These can easily compromise your system and your information.
