Overview
Any compromise or potential compromise to the security of campus services can have lasting ramifications to personal information, research data and the reputation of Mines. A security incident is any violation of campus security policies. ITS seeks to investigate and remediate all security concerns as soon as possible. Please report security concerns, no matter how big or small.
Benefits
- ITS can investigate all security concerns using Email, Firewall, Security Monitoring and Endpoint protection systems
- If needed, ITS can utilize the expertise of outside entities to perform more thorough investigations
Target Completion Date
1-2 business days for initial assessments. Some investigations may take longer.

South Dakota Mines students, staff and faculty for academic and business purposes only.
Cost
Services are provided at no cost to current students, staff and faculty.
