Overview
At the South Dakota Mines campus we use electronics systems to monitor, grant and deny access to doors using cards or mobile credentials. This allows for easy changes, robust tracking and for added security on campus.
Door access can be granted by a request from authorized personnel. Access can be revoked at any time, as well as limited by day or time of day.

South Dakota Mines students, staff and faculty for academic and business purposes only.
Cost
Services are provided at no cost to current students, staff and faculty. Replacement ID cards may require a fee.
Policies
Access is only granted once ITS receives confirmation from authorized personnel.
Duplicating cards or credentials is a violation of campus security policy.
Mobile credentials is available to all students, staff and faculty and will require a NFC-capable mobile device.
