Stolen Computer

Overview

Computers, especially laptops, are easily stolen.  Whether we travel or just at lunch, our computing equipment is an easy target.  If you have had the unfortunate experience of having your computer stolen, ITS can help you.  Campus Police can assist in filing reports, and ITS can help provide a temporary or replacement computer.  In some cases, with campus cloud solutions like OneDrive, your data may easily recoverable.

Policies

All stolen computers need to be reported to Campus Police and a police report needs to be filed

Users are responsible for the replacement cost of stolen devices
