Timeline:
Week 2: Early Intervention/Census Report
Faculty members are asked simply to select “Yes” for each student that has not attended their class yet. Students who have attended do not need reports filed!
Week 4-7: Early Academic Progress Reports
Faculty members are asked to identify students who are showing early signs of concern. We understand some courses may not have had an exam at this point, but we want to reach out to students who may be struggling while there is time for them to make changes.
Week 10-11 – End: Final Academic Progress Reports
Faculty members are asked to identify students who are at risk of failing their course.

Progress Reports - Progress Reports are reminders sent out each semester in weeks four and ten to Discussion/Lecture, Lab, and Online undergraduate section(s). Faculty will receive a roster of their specific section with the ability to issue alerts, comments (not visible to students), and/or attendance to initiate additional support for students at risk. Mid-term grades are not included in this report.
With all alert types, there is the option to add a comment on the concern being raised; this is critical to any intervention that may happen with the student. Each alert gives a general idea of the issue at hand, but the more detail provided, the better context there will be to meaningfully engage with the student. Please indicate if you are handling the concern and what action you are taking.
Only assigned advisors will receive alerts (i.e. only athletes are assigned an athletic advisor). See the alert messages to students in the attachments at the top of the page.
