Introduction
Outlook has a storage restriction for the amount of emails it will store on your computer. When this amount is reached, the steps described below need to be taken to keep the app working normally.

Changing amount of emails stored locally
1. In your outlook app, select the "File" tab

2. Click on the box titled "Account Settings" and in the drop-down box, select "Account Settings"

3. In the account settings window, under the email tab, select the "Change..." sub-tab

4. Move the slider to change the timespan of emails saved to your local device

5. Click on done then close and open Outlook to put your changes into action

Rebuild email storage
***Only do this step after trying the above process and still running into issues***
1. Close Outlook
2. Go into File Explorer and click where indicated below



3. Select your account from the list
4. Toggle on hidden items if it isn't already

5. Click through where indicated below



6. Click once to select the one that has your name and ends in ".ost"

7. Right click the chosen file and select "Rename"

8. Add ".old" to the end of the file name

9. Open outlook and allow it time to rebuild the missing file.
