All South Dakota Mines Residence Halls are wired for Internet connections and the connection cost is included in your room cost. All you need is a computer and a network card. All South Dakota Mines-owned laptops are wireless and LAN-ready.
Please ensure your device's DHCP and DNS settings are set to "automatic".
Not every network port is activated in each Residence Hall room. Please try other ports in the room to see if they are active. If you need a port activated please contact Residence Life or ITS. Go here to request a Port Activation.
