South Dakota Mines student email is hosted by Gmail. ALL official South Dakota Mines emails will be sent to this account (firstname.lastname@mines.sdsmt.edu) - it will NOT be forwarded to any other account, so you need to get in the habit of checking this account regularly until you make the forward yourself from inside your MINES account. Faculty members will also send to this account for class work.
Your email address will look like: firstname.lastname@mines.sdsmt.edu

- Username should be Firstname.Lastname@mines.sdsmt.edu
- Your default password is your birthday + ID number. Example: mmddyyyy##########
