How to activate a course in D2L

Introduction

This article provides faculty with steps to activate a course on D2L. Activating your course allows student access.

Environment

An internet-connected device with a web browser (Edge, Firefox, Chrome, or Safari).

Instructions

1. Navigate to Course Offering Information.
   There are two different ways:
    
   1. From the “My Courses” widget on the D2L homepage:
      1. Click the “...” menu
      2. Select Course Offering Information
         
         
         OR
          
   2. Inside the course:
      1. Click Edit Course in the navigation bar
      2. Select Course Offering Information
         
          
2. Scroll down, then check that the “Course is active”. Click Save.
