This guide helps you either set up DUO on a new phone, or reconnect DUO to a current phone

Instructions


If you already have a device registered with Duo and have access to that device or the same number on your new device, follow these instructions to reactivate duo.

  • Open duo-recovery.sdsmt.edu and log in with your @mines.sdsmt.edu email account.

  • Skip the initial Code request and choose “Other Options” and chose either the 'Phone call' or 'Text message passcode' options on the following screen.

  • Choose “I have a new phone” option below your old phone. 

  • Follow the subsequent setup windows to activate your new phone with a QR Code or an activation link.
