Duo First Time Sign-in

Learn to activate DUO multi-factor authentication from start to finish. **If you already started this process please find the article 'Duo Reregistration'.**

If this is your first time setting up Duo, follow these instructions. 

• Open duo-recovery.sdsmt.edu and log in with your @mines.sdsmt.edu email account.

 

• You will be welcomed to Duo Security with a few screens.

• Choose “Phone Number” on this window to text an activation  link to your phone that will activate Duo on your phone.
