Faculty, staff, and students working off campus are able to securely connect to campus network resources using a Virtual Provider Network (VPN). So whether you're home or traveling, you can access the SD Mines network and servers.

To set up the VPN connection, follow the directions based on your operating system:
Note: If you are on campus using a university-owned computer or student tablet PC and successfully connected to the "sdsmtwpa" wireless network, you do not need to use a VPN connection to access network resources.
