eAccounts is the phone application that is used for controlling door access on campus. Your phone will act as the passkey for rooms and buildings on campus. This guide will help you with both adding and removing your digital ID from your phone.

Removing an Old Device from Transact eAccounts
Your account is restricted to one primary device attached to it at a time. Due to this, you will have to remove access for a previous device before being able to add a new one. This can be done by removing access to your account over the internet
Removing Device from your account via internet:
1. Go to experience.sdsmt.edu
2. Click on "View all cards" in the top right of the screen

3. In the search bar on the top left of the screen, search for "housing"

4. On the housing card, click on Grubby ID (you might need to scroll down)

5. under the heading "ID Services" click on "deposit grubby gold online" (It will take a long time to load this page)

6. Click on "proceed"

7. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on "Deactivate Card" under "Card services"

8. Select the device you want to deactivate and click 'Deactivate'

9. Add your new device using the instructions above.
If you can't add it right away, please have patience. The changes might not take full effect for up to 2 hours.
If you run into issues during the last step or you still can't gain access after waiting those 2 hours, please email Residence Life and they will help you with your digital ID issues.
