eTransact

eTransact is the program that is used for controlling door access on campus. Your phone will act as the passkey for rooms and building you have access to. This guide will help you with both adding and removing your digital ID from your phone.

Removing a Device from your eTransact Account

Your account is restricted to only having one primary device attached to it at a time. Due to this, you will have to remove access for a previous device before being able to add a new one. This can be done either by removing the account from the eAccounts app on the previous phone or, if you don't have access to your old device, by accessing your account over the internet.

Removing the account from your previous device:

  1. Sign into your eAccounts app on your phone
  2. Select your school profile and remove it from the app
  3. Follow the guides given above to sign into your new device.

Removing Device from your account via internet:

1. Go to experience.sdsmt.edu 

2. Click on "View all cards" in the top right of the screen

3. In the search bar on the top left of the screen, search for "housing"

4. On the housing card, click on Grubby ID (you might need to scroll down)

5. under the heading "ID Services" click on "deposit grubby gold online" (It will take a long time to load this page)

6. Click on "proceed"

7. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on "Deactivate Card" under "Card services"

8. Select the device you want to deactivate and click 'Deactivate'

9. Add your new device using the instructions above.
