How to add the network (F) drive
How to add the network (F) drive

Add the F Drive Manually (Remap Network Drives App not available)
Open file explorer
If app is not on start menu or taskbar, have the user search for it in the desktop search bar
Click on the “This PC” tab in left hand menu
If the user cannot find this tab, have them read down the menu options until they find it
Right click on whitespace beneath drive options, select “Add a network location” on the menu that pops up
The “Add Network Location” Wizard should appear. Click “Next”
Select “Choose a custom network location” and click “Next”
On the “Specify the location of your website” screen, enter “\\speedy.sdsmt.local\sdsmtshare” into the “Internet or network address:” box and hit “Next”
On the “What do you want to name this location?” screen, click “Next”
On the “Completing the Add Network Location Wizard,” click “Finish”
The user’s F drive should open after the wizard completes. Some users might have to sign in with their SDSMT email and password to gain access.
