How to change @MINES email password

Introduction

Student email is hosted by Gmail and the password is separate from campus services like Computer logins, D2L, self-service registration, and SNAP.

Environment

An internet-connected device with a web browser (Edge, Firefox, Chrome, or Safari)

Instructions

1. In order to change your @Mines email address, please go to http://gmail.com and sign in with your current @Mines email address and password.
    
2. Once you are signed in, click on your name in the TOP RIGHT and click on My Account.  That should pop up a new window.  
   
   
   
    
3. Click on 'Manage your Google Account'.
    
4. Select the 'Security' tab.
   
    
5. Move to the 'Signing into Google' section.
   
    
6. Click on the arrow next to 'Password' and you will be redirected to another page to change your password.
