Introduction
Graduate students are not automatically enrolled in the laptop program unless they posses a laptop that is still under lease with the campus.
If a graduate student needs a laptop for research or lab work, first check with your department head to see if they have any computers for this purpose.
If the department does not have a computer available the department/student has two options. (See options below)

Repurposed Device
If your department does not have a device to use, ask them to submit the form at the link below. (We currently have Fujitsu P728 laptops for this purpose)
Repurposed Device/Parts Request.
If the Help Desk still has supplies available, we will prepare a computer for you and notify you when it is ready
The repurposed device we offer are shared as is. We don't have the parts to upgrade the devices
Any RAM or storage upgrades will have to be purchased separately. The Help Desk can help with installation
Please return the Device to ITS so we can wipe and reset the device for another grad student
Laptop Program
Grad students are allowed to join the student laptop program (Cost associated found here)
To join, you need to fill out the Laptop Program Opt-In Form
After you have filled out the form come to the ITS Help Desk on the main floor of the Devereaux Library to pick up your device
