Password Policies

Introduction

This article has the password requirements for campus accounts.  

Instructions

When resetting your password for campus use, the password must meet the requirements and avoid the restrictions listed below. 

  • Your password must be at least 12 digits in length
     
  • You must have 3 out of the following 4 options in your password
    • Upper Case Letter - A, B, C, etc.
    • Lower Case Letter - a, b, c, etc. 
    • Special Symbol - !, @, #, etc.
    • Number - 1, 2, 3, etc.
       
  • You cannot use the following when creating a password. 
    • Your name
    • Your student ID
    • The word 'password'
